I have had a dog at my feet from the day I was born.  I would not know how to live with out the love and affection that four paws can give.

It was not until about thirty-five years ago that I decided to start to show my dogs both in the Non-Sporting and Toy Ring .  While still living in New Jersey I finished several dogs in both groups.  It was also at that time that I start a breeding program.  I have since moved to Florida and am now retired.  I do not show anymore but do still breed.  As we are a small hobby breeder, we selectively breed perhaps one litter a year.  I can now give each and every new born from it's first day of life until they have to leave me, my full undivided attention.

When we do decided to breed a girl, we breed to the Y.T.C.A. breed standard, for  very healthy puppies with a super personalities.  We strive for quality not quantity.

The new Moms and her babies spend the first four weeks in her quite room.  When they start crawling around they are slowly introduced to the living room, to get them used to the noises of a TV (that runs all day), vacuums (when I am not playing with the dogs) and any other experiences  such as three indoor cats and the adult dogs that all want to play with the babies thru their x-pen bars.  At this time they are also introduced to the piddle pads for training to begin.

I do not take the puppies for their first set of shots until they are eight (8) weeks of age,  when they again get a complete health check and receive their health certificate.  I will not let my babies go any sooner then 12 weeks of age and that depends on the size of the puppy, very small puppies will stay longer.  At this time I know that they are all eating the quality puppy food I have been feeding them, tho they will still try and nurse on Mom every chance they get.

It is at this time we look and interview for the perfect home for our precious babies.  All my babies are sold as companion puppies with limited A.K.C. papers and and spay/neuter contract.
